Look to the skies as you venture forth unto new adventures alongside friends, creating new memories and discovering new worlds beneath the stars. Make new friends along the roads you travel, uncover lost treasures and barren lands abandoned to time, scour the ends of the world for new excitement and amazing experiences. You are adventurers, explorers, vagabonds! Free spirits that are not tethered to one place or another. You seek exhilaration, to feel that all-too familiar sense of wonder and amazement as you stand upon the peaks of the realm. Yet, know that you are not alone in this vast world; that there are many other adventurers who seek such thrills, who will run with the gales of the wind, who will bathe beneath the morning sun, who will gaze unto the stars and the heavens above by your side.

The evening is young, the stars are bright, just what sort of fun comes out at night? While the adventurers go on to rest their weary heads at The Sun's Respite, the ones who walk under Menphina's light are eager to start their days at The Moon's Soirée. Shimmering lights, melodious music, and exciting events are all held in this mysterious mansion. The venue is bustling with patrons and visitors alike, hoping to find entertainment and a night to remember. Enrapturing you within the comforting, alluring scents of extravagant feasts and soothing 'incense', your sights also turn to the curious masked hosts and hostesses as your ears are washed with the harmonious notes of beautifully tuned instruments. 'How long has it been,' you wonder? How much time have you spent within The Moon's Soirée?

We are always willing to help those who need it, are very open and understanding people, but by no means will we tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, and the likes.We intend on being a safe haven for those who have faced discrimination in the past. Of course, others who are not LGBT+ may join the FC as well, as our RPs will not be exclusive to one group.

Should someone feel offended or upset over what someone says, do not dismiss their feelings towards said topic or situation. Discrimination and bigotry will NOT be tolerated. If many of our members file complaints towards you, you can be kicked, and ultimately banned if issues are not solved properly.
OOC
1) No racism. This includes usage of slurs or jokes made at the expense of others based off of race, ethnicity, or religion.2) No homophobia & transphobia of any kind. This is a given! We support ALL of our LGBT+ siblings, including those who are non-binary, intersex, pre-transition, or questioning.3) No ableism. This includes usage of the 'R' slur or using mental illness, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities as insults.4) No pedophilia or other romanticizing of sexual abuse, including loli/shota, ddlg, or incest. Discussions of these things in venting channels must be appropriately tagged.5) No sexism. Degrading women on the basis of their gender will result in a warning. Repeated offenses or reports of harassment will not be tolerated!6) No abuse. If there is a serious complaint of someone abusing their power within the free company/discord, warnings will be issued, followed by further disciplinary action if there are repeated offenses.7) No harassment. This should be obvious! We will absolutely not tolerate any harassment towards our free company members, or even our free company members harassing other people. This includes sexual harassment, stalking, bothering people for RP/art/calls/invites, etc.8) No fetishization. This includes in-character, as well as out-of-character. Examples of fetishization involves: fetishizing certain races, genitalia, weight, etc.9) Be mindful of what you say in any chat; shout chat, general chat, party chat, alliance chat, etc. Do not threaten people or insult them, as it can cause problems not only for yourself, but potentially for people in our company, as well. Be respectful, and do not insult others.
IC
1) Be courteous to people RPing. Don't interrupt them if they are in the middle of something. If you want to join in their RP, shoot them a tell and ask them if it's okay to jump in. If you're attending a public event, then go wild.2) No metagaming or godmodding. This is a given. If you know something OOCly about a character, that does not mean your character knows it too unless previously established. Metagaming also includes, but is not limited to, typing for one's character (such as fulfilling any of their actions or assuming what they are feeling).3) IC =/= OOC. We repeat, in-character DOES NOT translate to out-of-character. If someone's character in our Free Company has an issue with your character, that doesn't mean the person behind the screen also has an issue with you. If someone in our FC is roleplaying someone with questionable morals (ie. villainous characters), that does not mean they also have those morals OOCly. With that said, characters with certain questionable morals (pedophilia, abuse, etc) are not allowed in the FC whatsoever.4) C O M M U N I C A T E . Communicate with your RP partners, event hosts, DMs, et cetera. Do not stew in silence if something is bothering you, nor hesitate to ask any questions if you have concerns about any scenarios (even if you just need clarification)! Communication is key to a fun, healthy roleplay lifestyle, as with any other lifestyle.5) If someone is running an event, please be mindful of the DM(s), their stories, and those around you! If you have a fun or creative idea, feel free to reach out to the ones hosting the event! We all love new ideas, especially if they can spice up the RP-- but as mentioned in Rule #4, communication is key.6) Do not, by any means, control another person's character. This is similar to Rule #2, but this time we mean this: if someone's character is injured, it is up to them how they will be affected. Do not force healing upon the character.

We're also happy to invite people who don't roleplay, but are happy to join the ride and hang out!
What We're Looking For
We're looking for members that are 18+. We are by no means an ERP FC, but we are no longer accepting minors into our company. We expect everyone to have a sense of maturity and common sense.We also need people to be aware that we have members who are either busy or partake in other in-game content, we need people that are capable of finding their own RP at times, or even take initiative within the FC, whether it be content and roleplay storylines alike. We're also happy to take in new roleplayers with the willingness to learn and the ability to take criticism.The FC is always recruiting skilled and experienced roleplayers, as well as new roleplayers, into our ranks. Before reading into our recruitment, we ask that you fulfill the following requirements:
1) We are a lore-friendly FC, so that means you are able to bend the lore to your whims-- but please DO NOT break the lore.
2) Communicate. Communicate with your RP partners or with everyone in general to make sure that you're all on the same page.
3) Be patient. Whether it's waiting for someone to reply, waiting for more events, or whatever else, please be patient with people.We are also open to collaborations and possible partnerships with other Free Companies to participate in joint events! Leader is self-explanatory. This is Azhi'li's IC & OOC rank, and he has access to everything within the FC. All of his other characters are under the rank Leader-alt!Head Medicus is the IC rank for Nanayu Nayu. She is the one for all of your health needs, whether you are feeling sick, have a splinter in your widdle finger, or have had your leg eaten off by a giant bara. You know, the usual.Natural Medicus is the IC rank for Agasiletai Qalli. Unlike Nanayu, Agasiletai mostly focuses on natural remedies and first aid rather than using magic. If you can't tolerate magic, or would prefer to heal in non-magical means, Agasiletai's the one to go to.Officer Alt is the rank for Officers' alts! They're able to do most things within the FC, including member invitation, dismissal, and company action management.Adventurer is the rank for Senior Members of the FC! If you've been part of the FC for 3 or more months and made outstanding contribution to the FC, you may be promoted to this rank!Explorer is the standard rank for members of the FC! After a short trial period, your rank will be updated to Explorer. A young Seeker born in Southern Thanalan and raised in Ul'dah. He left the city at sixteen summers, returning at twenty as a light-sect monk before forming his own free company under the allegiance of the Immortal Flames. He's quite childish still; very foolish and not the brightest, but he does his very best in making sure his company is running smoothly. He's not one to shy away from monster bounties or sparring with new recruits, and is always eager to help folks outside of his company as well.

Ul'dahn born and raised, Nanayu Nayu is the heiress of modest fortune. Having outgrown the party days of her youth, Nanayu has dedicated herself to philanthropy and medicine. When not providing her service to Company members (or, really, anyone to wander into her clinic), she can be found offering aid to the less fortunate of Ul'dah, and occasionally indulging in Chocobo Races, or spectating Gladiatorial matches.

An eyeless songbird that strayed too far from his home, Aga didn't so much join Unto the Skies as he was saved by it. Because of this, he is fiercely loyal to it's members, seeing them as his new tribe. While combat is not his strong suit, he's well-versed in the ways of traditional healing and medicine, though his bedside manner is a bit...lacking.

Tuiyene CivetteA Wildwood Elezen who is also the wife of S'umeshi Takan, and the first face anyone sees when they walk into the Sun's Respite. She's quite a charismatic character, as well as a very rambunctious woman. She loves hearing about the latest gossip and news, and is the first to goad you to dance on the tables after challenging you to finish four pints of ale. Though, do not take advantage of her hospitality, or she absolutely will kick your ass up and down the streets of the Goblet.
Coleson AndrewsA former Ala Mhigan refugee, older brother of Theuden, and sous chef of the Respite! Whenever Uta, their head chef, is not the one in the kitchen, Coleson is the one to provide hearty, delicious meals for company members and patrons alike. He's an outgoing character, very proud of his culinary skills and eager to have new people review his recent recipes.
Theuden AndrewsA former Ala Mhigan refugee, younger brother of Coleson, and bartender alongside Tuiyene. While Tui serves the Respite's patrons, Theuden is the one to keep glasses clean and also keep them coming. He's a lot more introverted than Coleson and Tui, but still warm and kind-mannered and always eager to please guests.
S'umeshi TakanA Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te who reigns from Hingashi, wife of Tuiyene Civette, and keeper of knowledge within the Respite. She remains upstairs where the Command Table resides, providing latest information on any missions or bounties the company has taken on. She is very sociable and excitable, but also knows when the going gets tough and the tough gets going, eager to work hard and see that the company's adventurers get what they need.
Hisashi IsamuAn Au Ra Raen who also hales from Hingashi, and who has arrived alongside S'umeshi from the same boat. The two are familiar friends that have left Kugane after the arrival of the Garleans, and while S'umeshi is the brains, Hisashi s the brawn. He is a disciple of the hand, trained in many forms of craft in order to forge armor, weaponry, or tools that can be useful on the company's many jobs. He runs a little armory upstairs by the Command Table where adventurers may purchase supplies that will prove useful on their missions.
Haelsnoe SwyrbharA Sea Wolf Roegadyn with a kind smile and a gentle soul. Haelsnoe is seen downstairs in the office of the Respite, offering warm tea and biscuits to those whom enter for business. Yet, do not take his kindness for granted, as he is also the last face you will see before he personally sees you out of the Respite. He may be welcoming and nice, but he is a man on duty who also protects the Respite's treasury.
